I use a large hook (like an I or J) for loose curls and a smaller one (like G or H) for tighter curls. I just make a forever long row (okay, about three yards) of chain stitches. Next, I run the chains in water, making sure they're really soaked. The booklet said to microwave the chains ... but I accidently burned them to a plate once, so now I just let the hair air-dry. Once they're dry, I unravel the chains and start attaching the hair!
